IPL Players Auction: Rajasthan Royals & Kings XI Punjab to Participate in IPL 4 Player Auction

It's cleared now that Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab is been participating in IPL Season 4 Players Auction. Its going to be held in Bengaluru on 8th & 9th January, 2011. This was discussed in IPL governing council meeting in Mumbai on Wednesday Evening.

Both Teams RR & KXIP had met the criteria by submitting the bank guarantees to the court before the stipulated deadline.

"They have met the requirement, and the court directive is in their favour. So they will participate in the player auction," said a senior BCCI official on the condition of anonymity. The IPL governing council also decided that the IPL Season 4 would feature 10 IPL teams and 74 matches.
